To have a whole drama focussed around Kat and Alfie is a huge honour for us both and we just can't wait to start filming. Richie briefly reprised the role in 2018, with the character leaving once again in early 2019. In July 2022, it was announced that Richie would reprise the role of Alfie once again, returning to the soap in the Autumn.
